Insight: The holidays are a giant production
For the 2016 Target Holiday campaign we created a 8.5 minute mini-musical called the Toycracker, a modern retelling of Tchaikovsky’s classic, featuring John Legend and Chrissy Teigen and a plethora of toys. Original music by Benj Pasek and shot by Andreas Nilsson. An ambitious suite of additional content highlighted the “behind the scenes” while continuing to carry through the “Holidays are a giant production” theme. The “Toycracker” premiered in its entirety on the live broadcast of Frozen on ABC which was a feat in itself.
