These past few weeks I've been thinking a lot about my friends and their families in Japan. So I decided to make this print to raise a little bit of money to send to the relief effort. I worked with Rory Sparks of Em Space who helped me print it.

The block print is printed on handmade Japanese hosho paper and printed on a vandercook press.
It measures roughly 18x11. Edition of 50.
The prints are $15 each plus $5.00 for S&H. Pick up in Portland is encouraged.
Proceeds will go to Mercy Corps here in Portland who are sending funds raised to their partner in Japan, Peace Winds.

The print is titled Kokoro which translates to heart/spirit in Japanese.
I will be away from Portland for the first few weeks of May so if you would like to purchase a print let me know by email and I will send you one when I return at the end of May. Payment by paypal. Or if you want it sooner you can pick one up at Em Space's 2nd year anniversary party on Saturday which is going to be awesome.

*the song in the webfilm is Kurayamizaka Musasabi Henge (Ghosts of Flying Squirrels at Kuriyamizaka) by Happy End. Kurayamizaka is the neighborhood where I lived in Tokyo.
